Mission Statement

The Sierra Valley Barns, Birds and Barbecue Tour will foster awareness about the connections between farming, ranching and the environment in Sierra Valley.

Friday, June 16^th Tours:

• Romano's Farmer's Market at Sierra Valley Farms Open House 10am - 4pm

• Sierra Valley Native Plant and Wildflower Walk with Bill and Nancy Harnach 3pm - 5pm at Feather River Land Trust's (FRLT) Maddalena Ranch

• Picnic Dinner 5pm - 6:30pm at Maddalena Ranch

• Plumas Audubon Society/FRLT a Sundown Bird Watch at Roberti Ranch Wetlands 6:30pm to dusk.

TOUR REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 7:00AM

Saturday, June 17^th Farm Tours:

Morning Tours Start at 8am and will return to Calpine in time for lunch

AM Tour Option # 1 Roberti Ranch Goss Ranch

AM Tour Option # 2 Bar One Ranch Harvey Ranch

Afternoon Tours Start a 1:30pm and return to Calpine about 5-5:30pm

PM Tour Option # 3 Roberti Ranch Goss Ranch

PM Tour Option # 4 Harvey Ranch Infiniti Farm

Farm Tour Busses leave from Calpine Community Center

Tour Busses return to Calpine Community Center for lunch prior to the afternoon Tour(s)
